[GALLUP, NEW MEXICO - PHOTOGRAPHS]. Two original silver print images showing buckboard, wagon, horses & horsemen, of C. C. Manning Co., wholesale Indian Traders [c. 1920's]
Item #4834

3" x 5" images shot in the same location. Both images shot in front of what appears to be the trading post, with bars on far right window. One straight at building in background, foreground shows two men on a buckboard and four men tending an open wagon; under magnification, of the six panels on the side of the wagon two can be seen to read C. C. Manning & Gallup N. M. respectively. Second shot more from a right hand angle shows building and adjacent trees and structures in background with ten saddled horses, one man standing near building. Manning dealt in general merchandise, Navajo blankets, wool, goatskins & sheep pelts. Wonderful, sharp images of the Roaring 20's, New Mexico style. Very slight discoloration to first print upper right corner background of sky, not affecting central image. Near fine.

PRICE:  $150.00
