Oblong 8vo, unpaginated, brown cloth with small mounted photo of the burning Call building, half-tones from photographs by F. E. Strohmeier, A. Blumberg, etc., 3 fold-out panoramas. San Francisco: Leon C. Osteyee, [1906]. Printed at the Murdock Press. Zeigler's 20-page account of the earthquake and fire is followed by 90 full-page photos showing the impact in San Francisco and the larger Bay Area. Rocq notes two variants of this title (12956 and 12957). It appears that one was issued in brown cloth and the other in green. Front hinge partially cracked; tape repairs to back of Mission District photo before fold-outs & title page; one fold-out loose. Good condition.
