With typed letter on half-sheet printed letterhead of Moulton & Evans; received stamp of Tonopah Mining Co. of Nevada on face. Morris catalogue with nice photos of equipment in use on job, in plants, etc. Moulton & Evans typed note "Dear Sirs, You have to buy a considerable quantity of machinery for the equipment and repair of your plant. Are you perfectly satisfied with the goods you have been getting? . . . How about the prices you are paying? Did you ever try a little outside competition? We make a specialty of Sprocket Chain, Sprockets and Elevating Machinery." Signed in pencil by R. J. Moulton. That's how they pitched it in 08. Very Good condition. |
