| E. E. Heikka. Morning Frolic Item #5384 Bronze, 19"x17"x7", No. 31/36 (Original sculpture 1933). This energetic bucking horse was commissioned by S. C. Rumford as a birthday gift for his son, Cliff. Rumford was Heikka's boss at the Great Falls Sporting Goods Company, where the artist worked in the taxidermy shop in the 1930s. Note the fur chaps on the rider. |
