[MORROW, Robert F.]. California State Telegraph Company telegram form made out to Robert [F.] Morrow, concerning [George] Hearst. Item #6312
5.5"x8.5" printed form, entries in ink, sender unknown. San Francisco, January 6, 1864. The message to Morrow reads, "Cannot do anything with Hearst." Together with partner A. E. Head, Morrow was at this time involved in Nevada County mining. The "Hearst" referred to in the telegram is presumably mining magnate George Hearst, who moved to San Francisco in 1862. Very good condition. |
