4.75"x7.25" printed V.&T.R.R. Freight Bill form with the railroad's name crossed out and Bender's inked in its place. Twice hand-stamped paid by Virginia & Truckee Railroad. Signed correct by C. H. Goddard, Agt. Reno, Dec 2, 1875. Bender & Co. was a general freight and passenger agent operating out of Reno. Bender was later a director and officer of the Carson and Colorado Railroad. One puncture, otherwise near fine. |
