Yellow Eyes

By David Humphreys Miller. Colored pencil and crayon on tinted art paper, drawn from life c. 1940, unsigned. 11"x8". This is probably not the Yellow Eyes, also known as Red Fox, who fought in the Custer battle. More likely, it is Amos Yellow Eyes, who lived on the Rosebud reservation in White River, South Dakota.
