Hotel was built in 1921, and later functioned as a gambling casino. Clark Gable, his wife, and "Bugsy" Siegel were known to be regular guests. Picture of car driving through gates to the hotel is on the front and back of brochure. Inside contains picture of map of California's coast, with LEBEC pinpointed. Promotional text describes the lodge, small blip about rates. Loose sheet includes a printed poem by G.H. Carlyle, "Over the Ridge at Curry's." |
