9" x 4" printed both sides on card stock; stewardess pink, graphics, time table, map. Stewardess pink brochure. During the 1970's, they promoted themselves as the "champagne airlines", and gave free champagne to anyone over 21. This advertisement lists the Californian flight time tables, and offers filet mignon gourmet dinner, and an orchid for milady. Claims to be the Luxury Line of the Pacific Coast. Their logo was Wally Bird, who was voiced by Jim Backus. Text contains time schedule, description of flight and amenities, and a map of the Californian. Age darkened at edges, very good condition. |
